Job Summary

The Loudoun County Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking qualified candidates to fill two newly created full-time Management Analyst III positions focused on the department's operating, capital, and grant budgets of approximately $250 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring the department's financial status as related to budgeting, to include developing, preparing and implementing the assigned budgets
  • Monitoring departmental expenses
  • Account reconciliation and analysis
  • Resolving discrepancies
  • Approving purchases
  • Performance measure reporting
  • Preparing budget adjustments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field
  • Three (3) years of related work experience in areas such as government operating or capital budgeting and planning
  • Prior grant experience is preferred, but not required, for candidates interested in the grant and capital position
