Key Responsibilities- Install and remove mechanical and electrical components in assemblies and sub-assemblies, adhering to work instructions and visual aids.
- Troubleshoot failed assemblies to determine corrective action and implement improvements.
- Work collaboratively with other assemblers and support functions to produce products on time and with high quality.
- Perform validation and inspection of own work and within immediate work area.
- Maintain adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work area.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer products and documentation.
- Participate in providing timely feedback to upstream and downstream operations as appropriate.
- Proactively participate in site Lean engagement and activities.
- Provide feedback on ways to reduce scrap created within the process by recommending corrective action to reduce or eliminate root cause.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply and follow all company security policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic-intermediate math.
- Ability to perform most highly complex assembly and testing functions.
- 10+ years in a lead role with all processes or a specialized knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
- Ability to perform basic-moderate placement and testing activities.
