Mechanical Assembler

As a Manufacturing Associate at Mercury Systems, you will play a critical role in performing precision assembly tasks across various product lines. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will be essential in ensuring high-quality defect-free assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform precision subassembly and system-level manufacturing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter information into the production Travelers/Routers, a part of our shop floor control system, with precision and accuracy.
- Work and follow detailed Assembly Instructions to produce high-quality assemblies.
- Follow and work within an ESD production environment and guidelines.
- Follow all safety practices and procedures.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality practices.
- Assist with Production Control/kitting activities during peak periods.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Manufacturing Operations/Mechanical Assembly/Class 3 soldering is a plus.
- Must be able to work with Assembly Drawings, Parts Lists, and Military Specifications.
- You must be able to enter data into a Manufacturing Shop Floor Control System.
- You must be able to follow supervision and interact well with others.
- You must be able to read and follow assembly instructions in English to consistently produce high-quality defect-free class 3 hardware.
- Must be able to work to J-STD-001E and IPC-610E specifications.
- You must have the ability to lift 40 lbs.
Experience working with cables and wires (per IPC-620) is a plus.
This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.
Mercury Systems considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including the role and related responsibilities, prior work experience, education, training, skills, and certifications, internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
