Cable Services Company Inc is seeking a skilled Directional Bore Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of directional drill equipment to install underground cables and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload directional bore equipment, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation
  • Complete daily inspections on bore equipment prior to commencing work
  • Prepare drill fluid based on site conditions
  • Operate horizontal directional drill equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Locate and verify cables in accordance with blueprints
  • Identify utilities in the construction area and bore path
  • Connect and stub-up conduit and wire
  • Dig pits, trenches, or potholes as required
  • Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
  • Accurately complete all required company documentation
Requirements:
  • One year of experience operating a directional borer, preferably in the telecommunications field
  • Previous rock boring experience
  • Class A CDL

Travel is required for this position, with company-paid hotel expenses and per diem. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for underground cable installation, we encourage you to apply.
