About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's Euclid Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a New Grad RN, you will participate in a year-long residency program, customized to fit your needs and pace, where you will provide direct nursing care, be paired with a coach, and develop clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with a team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
  • Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
  • Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
  • Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
