Job Title: Probation Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Probation Compliance Officer to join our team at the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. As a Probation Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the behavior of individuals on probation or released with conditions assigned by the Tribal Court.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the behavior of individuals on probation or released with conditions assigned by the Tribal Court.
  • Ensure compliance with all Tribal, State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Provide services in accordance with all Tribal, State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective probation services.

Requirements:

  • Two years of college with experience in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice and/or Child Protective Services or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality, personal integrity and ethical behavior at all times.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, Local and Tribal laws relating to probation work and child protection.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, child protection issues and probation practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include report writing.
