Job Summary:

The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling vehicular traffic, securing premises, inspecting vehicles and bags, and monitoring controlled access points. The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing required reports in a timely manner, recording observations and occurrences, and preventing loss or damage to company property.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control vehicular traffic to prevent unauthorized access
  • Secure premises by patrolling property and inspecting vehicles and bags
  • Monitor controlled access points to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Complete required reports in a timely manner
  • Record observations and occurrences
  • Prevent loss or damage to company property
  • Investigate incidents of irregularity
  • Contribute to a team effort
Requirements:
  • Surveillance skills
  • Strong, ethical character
  • Dependable
  • Ability to be objective
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism
  • Good people and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Must be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • 2 years stable work history
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
