Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:We're seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you'll be responsible for performing diagnostic exams using a holistic approach, adhering to quality control regulations, and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Produces diagnostic ultrasound images of patients in conformance with established department techniques and procedures.
- Assists physicians in interpreting the technical aspects of completed examinations.
- Provides clear explanations of procedures to patients, their families, and others as needed.
- Coordinates patient flow and schedules for efficient examination completion.
- Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross-contamination while assisting physicians with procedures.
- Evaluates requisitions for accurate completion of ultrasound examinations and completes additional paperwork for recordkeeping.
- Maintains knowledge of all Ultrasound Equipment in the department.
- Remains aware of clinic/department and organizational activities by attending meetings, reading emails, and regularly checking the organization's intranet site.
- Meets department work schedules and maintains compliance with CLIA, OSHA, Safety, and Risk Management guidelines.
- Behaves in a manner consistent with all Corporate Compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance at work.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Performs other duties as requested by Clinic Administrator to facilitate smooth and effective office operations.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARRT registered with demonstrated ultrasound experience.
- ARDMS Registry eligible.
- Mandatory Reporter certification.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Able to write, read, comprehend, and speak fluent English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
