Job Overview

The Logistics Customer Account Specialist will act as the primary representative for our customer interactions, serving as the key point of contact for clients. This role will facilitate communication between warehouse operations and customers, ensuring that all operational tasks are executed to meet or exceed client expectations and business objectives. The Specialist will also manage and complete various special projects as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes and nurtures strong professional relationships with all clients.
  • Responds promptly to client inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Provides essential administrative support to clients and site management.
  • Creates customized reports, process documentation, and key performance metrics.
  • Addresses complex issues, investigates concerns, and resolves escalated matters.
  • Oversees client projects and special requests as necessary.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a college degree or have completed high school with a minimum of five years of customer service experience. A minimum of one year of experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehousing environment is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities, are essential. The ability to multitask in a dynamic environment is necessary, as well as problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with MS Office Suite, is required, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
