Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Coordinator to join our team at the University of North Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to faculty, staff, and students across the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the deployment and use of computer and information technology within designated university departments, colleges, or divisions.
  • Act as a technical liaison for the campus community and consult with Information Technology Services staff, other UNF business units, and 3rd party vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Advise users regarding technology-related hardware and software configurations prior to purchases.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory and ensure security of all university technology within supported areas.
  • Ensure continued compliance of all software licenses.
  • Attend Information Technology Services and other departmental meetings as needed or directed by the Assistant Director for Academic Technology Support.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization, or Bachelor's degree with two years of experience directly related to the job functions.
  • Experience providing technology support in higher education.
  • Certification in ITIL, CompTIA, HDI, or other ITSM-related certification.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of computer concepts, terminology, and analytical techniques of computing support.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with peers.
  • A strong sense of the importance of customer service and teamwork.
  • Good organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
