Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a Marketing Intern to assist our marketing team in our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

This individual will be assisting with the development and distribution of diverse content to showcase and promote CEC and its employees in a meaningful way.

You'll work closely with a talented team of design, strategy, and business development professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Write content for internal and external communications;
  • Manage workload and coordinate with fellow Marketing team members to disseminate communications in a timely manner;
  • Responsible for complying with firm branding guidelines, departmental procedures, and standards, internal client requests, and instructions;
  • Participate in Marketing Department meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:

  • Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations;
  • Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities;
  • Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges;
  • Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a similar field;
  • Demonstrated Experience with editing/design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and PowerPoint;
  • Graphic design experience, and general understanding of publishing methods and requirements;
  • Prior internship and/or design experience a plus;
  • Work samples will be required (website, portfolio, writing samples, etc.).
