Position Overview
The Hospice Aide plays a crucial role in delivering personal care and support to individuals receiving hospice services. This includes assisting with daily living activities, implementing prescribed therapeutic exercises, and performing essential housekeeping tasks to ensure a comfortable and clean environment for patients.

This care is guided by a detailed care plan established and overseen by a Registered Nurse, ensuring that all services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications Required:
Educational Background:
Completion of a certified nursing assistant program or equivalent training is mandatory.

Licensure:
Upon hire, a Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License is required. Additionally, caregivers may need to drive as part of their responsibilities and must comply with all state regulations regarding driving. Proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance will be required upon request.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of experience in home health, hospice, or a related field as a nurse's aide, hospice aide, orderly, or similar role in an acute care, rehabilitative, or long-term care setting is essential.
