About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team at Bridgewell. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the behavioral needs of individuals in our day services program.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in clinical team meetings to assess and develop behavior management plans that meet regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with program team members to implement and monitor data collection systems, behavior support strategies, and day habilitation support plan objectives.
  3. Complete documentation related to services provided and maintain accurate records.
  4. Provide training to staff on behavior support strategies and data collection.
  5. Assist staff in locating and obtaining needed resources for individuals.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary team reviews and meetings with DDS and other stakeholders.
  7. Participate in referral assessment and transition planning processes.
  8. Provide performance feedback to program managers on behavioral support competencies.
  9. Contribute to the advancement of the field of Applied Behavior Analysis through professional development and community engagement.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
  2. At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those who are dually diagnosed.
  3. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral concepts and techniques.
