We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team at Bridgewell. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the behavioral needs of individuals in our day services program.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in clinical team meetings to assess and develop behavior management plans that meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with program team members to implement and monitor data collection systems, behavior support strategies, and day habilitation support plan objectives.
- Complete documentation related to services provided and maintain accurate records.
- Provide training to staff on behavior support strategies and data collection.
- Assist staff in locating and obtaining needed resources for individuals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team reviews and meetings with DDS and other stakeholders.
- Participate in referral assessment and transition planning processes.
- Provide performance feedback to program managers on behavioral support competencies.
- Contribute to the advancement of the field of Applied Behavior Analysis through professional development and community engagement.
- Master's degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those who are dually diagnosed.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral concepts and techniques.
