Principal Engineer

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - RF Sensors Electronics Support Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
This role is for a Responsible Engineer with a focus on subsystem requirements and architecture. The Responsible Engineer in this role will report to an EW Lead within the RF Sensors & Effects sub-IPT within the Mission Systems IPT.
Key Responsibilities:- Focused on model-based systems engineering using Cameo and performing analytical work.
- Working within Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels.
- Working with electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
- Working with sensor providers/suppliers.
- Position is in a small team with a diverse and significant set of requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 3 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
- Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
- Ability to travel 0-25%.
- Experience with Electronics Warfare subsystem OR Experience with RF design.
- 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels.
- Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
- Knowledge of DoDAF and system scenarios.
