Operations Director

CarMax is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the Service Operations Department at one or more assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of associates to ensure exceptional customer and associate experiences.
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Office, and Purchasing teams to drive business growth and improve processes.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business results.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance customer and associate experiences.
- Recruit, train, and develop associates to support Service Operations and company growth.
- Champion and implement company and store initiatives to drive consistent execution and procedures.
- Resolve customer and associate issues in a timely and professional manner.
- 3+ years of experience in a management role, with a focus on retail management.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- May require walking or standing for extended periods.
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments, including working in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.
- Rotating schedule with shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour days.
- Occasional travel for meetings, training, and special assignments.
