Job Title: Manager of Scientific Communications

We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate veterinarian to lead our scientific communications efforts. As a Manager of Scientific Communications, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our education and communications strategy, driving impact through ownership, development, and optimization of all nutritional, scientific, and medical content, tools, and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a holistic education strategy for the veterinary space, ensuring medically appropriate, engaging, and valuable content for consumers, veterinary professionals, and the internal team.
  • Collaborate with the Veterinary Professional Affairs and Relations team to enhance the knowledge of veterinary professionals and drive them through their journey from awareness to advocacy.
  • Work closely with R&D to propose new research, learn about content needs, and adjust new and existing materials based on feedback from the veterinary profession.
  • Liaise with Brand and Legal teams to ensure accurate and scientific medical and educational content for public-facing communications.
  • Adapt to diverse demands, maximizing the power of digital, physical, and in-person channels, and partnering with stakeholders to bring impactful experiences and education to life.
Requirements:
  • U.S. licensed veterinarian with a passion for education and public speaking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, sequence, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of experimentation and relentless iteration, with a work small/think big mindset.
  • Customer-centric mentality and a desire for collaboration.
