Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

**Job Summary:**

The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of health needs. This role requires a strong foundation in basic nursing principles, practices, and ethics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide nursing care to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems
  • Participate in the organization and management of the healthcare practice
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing
  • BLS certifications
  • Current licensure in the state of Kentucky
  • IV certification
  • Minimum two years of broad experience with emphasis in medical office duties

**Physical Guidelines:**

  • Ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position, and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day
  • Lift, move and transport patients and materials
  • Manual dexterity and motor coordination
  • Articulate speech
  • Read and understand medical information
  • Visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors
