We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing. As a LPN, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students with hearing and visual impairments.

Responsibilities:
  • Ride with student to school
  • Checking equipment and supplies before departure to ensure that all provisions are available for the students needs during the day
  • For students with trach, suctioning trachs as often as necessary to maintain the students airway
  • Monitor student's medical condition(s) and intervene appropriately
  • Assist the child to participate in the curriculum activities determined by the classroom teacher
  • Where necessary, feeding students by bolus or feeding pump
  • Administer medications at the appropriate time, route, and dosage as determined by the student's physician
