CNC Equipment Technician

At Nesco Resource, we are seeking an experienced CNC equipment technician to join our team in providing maintenance support and preventative care for production equipment.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to the success of our clients. As a CNC machine maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing intermediate-level preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, executing projects assigned by management, and troubleshooting basic equipment problems following manufacturer's instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform documented intermediate level PMs on equipment
- Execute projects assigned with guidance on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or basic troubleshooting
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic equipment problems following manufacturer's instructions and manuals
- Assist other maintenance technicians on advanced PMs and equipment troubleshooting
- Track maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on mechanical systems
- Basic level experience with CNC equipment
- Proficient working with computers and Microsoft products
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and write English
- Demonstrated use and understanding of basic hand tools
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and rotate items being handled
- Work on feet for entire shift
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Ensures all maintenance actions are accomplished in a safe and timely manner
- Team-oriented
- 2 years of CNC equipment operation – Mills, Lathes, Hones
- 2-year technical degree or trade certification
- 2 years of experience performing PMs and troubleshooting CNC equipment issues
- Experience managing spare parts inventory
- Forklift certification

CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
