About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco Seattle, Inc. in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues on fleet vehicles.
  • Work with the fleet manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless fleet operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, with a focus on heavy duty trucks.
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
