Job Summary:The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of Chileda Institute Inc. This includes developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's growth and sustainability
- Manage budgets and financial planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage financial relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and investors
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide financial guidance and support to the leadership team and other departments
- Master's degree in business, management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial leadership, preferably in a non-profit organization
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- CPA license
- Experience with financial software, including MAS90/Sage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The work environment is primarily office-based, with occasional interaction with students and staff.
Physical Demands:The physical demands of this position include occasional walking, standing, and sitting, as well as frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment.
