About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Part Time Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive and productive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience:
    • Provide personalized support to customers, addressing their needs and preferences to create a positive shopping experience.
    • Utilize sales tools and product knowledge to promote sales and drive revenue growth.
    • Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations Commitment:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
    • Ensure accurate inventory management, including scanning, investigating, and filling inventory lows and outs daily.
  • Print and Tech Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
    • Continuously educate yourself on print and technology products and services to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Sales Techniques:
    • Apply sales principles and techniques to create satisfying customer interactions and drive sales growth.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for information and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation and process inventory.
