About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian/Utility Worker to join our team at Ashby Ponds, a beautiful 132-acre continuing care retirement community in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the community, including floors, surfaces, and equipment
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste, including trash, recycling, and hazardous materials
  • Utilize work orders to ensure proper room and furniture setups
  • Assist with the movement and delivery of heavy objects and packages
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred
  • Ability to safely operate specialized equipment, including carpet care and hard floor care equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • May be required to maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of employment
