Role Summary:
This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities associated with the timely procurement of parts, supplies, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily order processing and follow up on outstanding purchase orders.
  • Confirm order acknowledgments while updating pricing and shipping timelines.
  • Handle debit and credit memos, along with credit card transactions and cash sales.
  • Address urgent orders for service and sales needs.
  • Ensure accuracy in vendor invoicing.
  • Engage in price negotiations.
  • Establish new vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Order industrial equipment and components.
  • Serve as a backup for stockroom operations.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift items overhead, up to 50 lbs.
  • Highly organized, proactive, with strong follow-up and investigative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of navigating software systems.
  • Team-oriented with a friendly professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
