Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Sleep Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our sleep disorder treatment program.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Testing: Prepare equipment for patient testing, conduct interviews to determine sleep disorder issues, and perform testing as required.
- Scoring and Reporting: Score and interpret sleep study results, and report findings to patients and healthcare providers.
- Patient Education: Educate patients about test results, sleep disorders, and available resources.
- Equipment Maintenance: Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent, or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience: None required.
- Competitive Compensation: $38.70 per hour, with pay dependent on relevant experience.
