Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of Anera's programs across various regions. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of program budgets, expenditures, and performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models and projections.
  • Prepare timely and insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders and donors.
  • Collaborate with program staff to monitor budget adherence and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Anera's financial policies and procedures, as well as donor regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • CPA, MBA, or MPA preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic preferred.

Location and Travel Requirements

  • Washington, DC (preferred); Beirut, Amman, Ramallah, or Jerusalem.
  • Remote/hybrid work is possible but must be based in one of these cities.
  • This role requires approximately 10% international travel.
