Job Title: House Supervisor RN

Munson Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our inpatient nursing units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of inpatient nursing units, including staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient and staff needs, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, including data analysis and quality improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an acute care setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
