Munson Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced RN House Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our inpatient nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct nursing staff on assigned shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting Relationship Based Care and desired patient-centered outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate staffing patterns, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal staffing ratios and efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement goals and objectives, reviewing and reporting progress quarterly to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction in establishing a culture of safety, recognizing and reporting any occurrences that may result in liability to the hospital.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and staff development.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an acute care setting, with demonstrated administrative and supervisory ability.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with ability to lead and direct others and work effectively with persons of varied background and educational experience.
