Position: Quality Assurance Specialist II - Manufacturing Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality oversight of manufacturing operations by reviewing in-process documentation, providing quality input for manufacturing issues, conducting quality inspections on the floor, and approving manufacturing procedures and batch records.
  • Release products for specific manufacturing phases and support quality control processes.

Requirements for Success:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
  • Experience: Relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry, manufacturing, or quality assurance functions. Experience with aseptic filling operations and clean room environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of personnel and apply technical knowledge to the manufacturing environment.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional chemical exposure and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
  • Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
