About the Role:

The Dental Associates Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Communication: Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice, verifying and updating patient information as needed.
  • Scheduling: Confirm the next day's appointments according to protocol and patient preferences, and schedule patients for efficient use of the doctor and staff time.
  • Financial Management: Collect payment from patients at the time of service, prepare financial treatment plans, and present plan options to patients.
  • Insurance and Benefits: Gather and verify patient benefits, maintain accurate benefit summaries in dental software, and submit insurance claims for completed treatment and prior authorizations.
  • Office Operations: Maintain a professional reception area, manage recall and inactive patient systems, and perform daily cash handling and balancing transactions.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software and experience with Open Dental preferred.
  • Work Authorization: United States work authorization required.
