Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at UNC Health. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular studies
  • Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care, including assessment and emergency cardiac care
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and properly maintained, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images and reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute hospital setting
