We are seeking an experienced Business Banking Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking department, you will be responsible for originating and structuring new business loans, developing strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and procuring new business loans, including C&I and CRE loans, as well as SBA lending opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Working closely with our Treasury Management team to cross-sell deposit, trade, cash management, asset management, and other banking services
  • Preparing and presenting credit packages for loan approval, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Partnering with centers of influence, referral resources, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as finance or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial banking, with a proven track record of success in originating and structuring new business loans
  • Strong working knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow, balance sheet, financial ratios, collateral, economic, and industry analysis
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and interested in learning about our high-tech invented technology solutions
