ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a dedicated non-profit organization contracted by the State of California, providing essential coordination of services for individuals with developmental disabilities for over 50 years. With a workforce of approximately 650 professionals operating from eight offices across a ten-county region, ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.
COMPENSATION
The following is contingent upon experience and educational background.
- Service Coordinator I: $26.78/hr.
- Service Coordinator IIIB: $31.43/hr. (requires a master's degree and 1-year experience in social work)
- Service Coordinator IIIA: $34.71/hr. (requires a master's degree and 2-years post-master's experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
ACRC is in search of a Service Coordinator to deliver case management and advocacy services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is focused on assisting children aged 3-18 with developmental challenges. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the creation of the Individual Program Plan (IPP);
- Monitoring and updating the IPP as necessary;
- Supporting clients and their families in accessing and maintaining necessary services;
- Acting as an advocate for clients with community organizations;
- Consulting with vendors regarding certifications, applications, and referrals;
- Completing all required documentation and reports;
- Sharing officer-of-the-day responsibilities with colleagues;
- Assisting team members with special projects and providing coverage during absences;
- Offering emergency on-call support to assigned clients as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related discipline; possess exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities; and have a valid California driver’s license along with automobile liability insurance. A minimum of one year of professional experience in social work or a related field (preferably within developmental disabilities) is preferred. Additional qualifications may apply.
