ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. With a workforce of approximately 650 employees across multiple offices, ACRC has been a vital resource in the community for over 50 years, serving a ten-county area in California.

COMPENSATION
Salary is commensurate with experience and education.

  • Service Coordinator I: $26.78/hr.
  • Service Coordinator IIIB: $31.43/hr. (requires a master's degree and 1 year of social work experience)
  • Service Coordinator IIIA: $34.71/hr. (requires a master's degree and 2 years of post-master's experience)

The final salary offered will be influenced by various factors, including skills, qualifications, and relevant experience. Typically, new hires do not start at the upper end of the salary range.

POSITION SUMMARY

ACRC is currently seeking a Service Coordinator to deliver case management and advocacy services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on supporting children aged 3-18 with developmental challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating in the creation of Individual Program Plans (IPPs);
  • Monitoring and updating IPPs as needed;
  • Assisting clients and families in obtaining necessary supports and services;
  • Acting as an advocate for clients with community organizations;
  • Consulting with vendors regarding certifications, applications, and referrals;
  • Completing all required documentation and reports;
  • Participating in officer-of-the-day duties with colleagues;
  • Providing support for special projects and assisting team members as needed;
  • Offering emergency on-call services to clients when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with effective time management and organizational abilities. A valid California driver’s license and automobile liability insurance are required. Preference will be given to those with at least one year of professional experience in social work or a related field, particularly in developmental disabilities.
