Job Summary

HANAC, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Employment Education Specialist. This position will play a critical role in supporting the organization's mission to provide innovative and effective programs for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Design and deliver workshops, orientations, and project-based learning experiences to support the development of young people's work readiness and social skills.
    • Collaborate with program staff to develop and implement program goals, objectives, and strategies.
  • Program Management and Administration
    • Manage programmatic recordkeeping, including participant data and program evaluations.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with program participants, worksites, and community partners.
  • Training and Professional Development
    • Provide educational advice and support to program participants to help them achieve their career goals.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions on topics such as financial literacy, time management, and conflict resolution.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with program participants, worksites, and community partners to ensure successful program implementation.
    • Collaborate with program staff to ensure seamless program operations and high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma required; current college enrollment. AA/AS degree a plus.
    • Minimum of three years of experience planning and facilitating workshops for youth on workforce and career topics.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a professional setting.
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
    • Ability to work with the public and/or youth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and Education
    • Experience with classroom management.
    • Experience developing youth development, work readiness curricula, and lesson plans.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Unflappable customer service, organization, and time management skills.
    • Creative, professional, and has an excellent sense of humor.
    • Passion for youth and community development.
