Job Summary:The Production Specialist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machines to mix or blend chemicals. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire and review batch tickets to ensure accurate production of chemicals
- Work with the Production Fork Lift Operator to coordinate the delivery of raw materials for each manufacturing job
- Calibrate meters as needed for the delivery of raw materials to manufacturing kettles
- Feed raw materials into manufacturing kettles using air pumps or other means in accordance with each batch ticket
- Test finished products as needed based on the test sheet and make adjustments when necessary
- Maintain production and time records, as required on batch tickets
- Maintain high-quality standards through regular quality assurance checks
- Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
- Produce products in accordance with process sheets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment desired
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong ability to read and comprehend English
- Manual dexterity
