Job Summary:

The Production Specialist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machines to mix or blend chemicals. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and review batch tickets to ensure accurate production of chemicals
  • Work with the Production Fork Lift Operator to coordinate the delivery of raw materials for each manufacturing job
  • Calibrate meters as needed for the delivery of raw materials to manufacturing kettles
  • Feed raw materials into manufacturing kettles using air pumps or other means in accordance with each batch ticket
  • Test finished products as needed based on the test sheet and make adjustments when necessary
  • Maintain production and time records, as required on batch tickets
  • Maintain high-quality standards through regular quality assurance checks
  • Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
  • Produce products in accordance with process sheets
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures and requirements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment desired
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Strong ability to read and comprehend English
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Ability to problem solve
