We're seeking an Appian Consultant to join our team and help us modernize FDA cloud infrastructure using AWS. As an Appian Consultant, you'll design and implement industry-focused, integrated solutions leveraging the entire Appian Technology Platform. You'll work closely with our clients and REI core members to deliver business process-based solutions that drive real results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with project stakeholders to define, design, and implement business process-based solutions
  • Designing and implementing solutions with Appian software and providing demonstrations to clients
  • Independently interfacing with client technical teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementation
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior consultants on application and implementation methodology

Requirements include:

  • 5 years of experience with all aspects of the Appian technology platform
  • Experience with JBoss or IIS Web Server preferred
  • Experience in developing/implementing, testing, and deployment in Appian environments
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Programming skills using high-level languages Java (J2EE, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, Web Services), HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, SQL
  • Expert at generalizing and coding process rules; identifies and designs repeating people-oriented process-based patterns (for re-use in process applications)
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work with key client stakeholders to define business processes and gather techno-functional system requirements
  • Demonstrated past success in cross-functional roles with complete lifecycle implementations

Educational qualifications include a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Certifications: Appian Developer certification or better required within 90 days of hire.
