Job Description

The Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income is responsible for conducting in-depth valuations of US and Global investment grade corporations. This role contributes to the implementation of portfolio strategy and structure for all mandates based on deep knowledge of portfolio holdings, a deep understanding of portfolio construction principles, and fixed income asset classes.

This role liaises with external third-party managers as required. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of fixed income instruments and financial markets, especially IG credit. Strong analytical and technology skills, along with the ability to learn new internal systems, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth valuations of US and Global investment grade corporations
  • Implement portfolio strategy and structure for all mandates
  • Liaise with external third-party managers as required
  • Have a thorough understanding of fixed income instruments and financial markets, especially IG credit
  • Have strong analytical and technology skills, along with the ability to learn new internal systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and CFA, MBA desirable
  • 5+ years of fixed income portfolio or investment analysis experience with a financial services firm
  • Strong people skills, clear communication and presentation skills, team oriented, and the desire and ability to work with business partners across the organization
  • Strong critical thinking skills
