Christopher Community, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join its team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities across our properties
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business functions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field (e.g. facilities management, engineering) preferred
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and instructions, with a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other trade skills
