POSITION SUMMARY
Respond efficiently to requests from guests and other departments. Prepare cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas. Enter guest rooms following established protocols to ensure safety and vacancy prior to entry. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Change out soiled linens and towels with fresh items. Make beds and neatly arrange towels. Clean bathrooms thoroughly. Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items. Verify that all appliances are present and functioning properly. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Related Work Experience: No prior work experience necessary.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
The pay range for this position is $28.50 to $29.50 per hour and includes health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
