Role Overview: We are seeking an Integration and Test Systems Engineer to be based in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will encounter a stimulating and fulfilling opportunity to contribute to our enterprise-wide digital transformation. By leveraging Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies, we continuously evolve our approach to delivering critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that consider technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems, including designing a formal qualification strategy for new system designs utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and DOORS.
  • Utilize scripting knowledge to create test scripts for automating test campaigns.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities.
  • Review and assess test requirements to ensure the completeness of the test program.
  • Conduct technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluations.
  • Evaluate the performance of Navigation Systems and Mission Computers by analyzing data using MatLab or similar software.
  • Potentially develop System Models using Simulink or Cameo.
  • May participate in an Agile SCRUM team.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for Principal Integration and Test Systems Engineer:

  • 5 years of engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline; 3 years of experience with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD.
  • Systems engineering background and/or mindset.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Experience in test plan/procedure/execution.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite full time in Woodland Hills, CA.

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Integration and Test Systems Engineer:

  • 9 years of engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline; 7 years of experience with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD.
  • Systems engineering background and/or mindset.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Experience in test plan/procedure/execution.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite full time in Woodland Hills, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Simulink.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub.
  • Systems engineering background with verification experience.
  • Mentoring and teaching capabilities.
  • Familiarity with testing embedded software on target hardware.

Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900
Salary Range 2: $133,000 - $199,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
