Job Overview

As a Laundry Operations Supervisor with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our laundry facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that linen for Gaming Operations and Tribal Operations is processed and delivered daily, maintaining high product quality, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the laundry team
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless linen delivery
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high standards are met
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish a plus
  • Basic computer skills, including keyboarding and software proficiency
  • Leadership skills, including ability to boost team morale and lead by example
  • Valid Class D driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks
