Job Description

As an Accessioner, you will be responsible for handling laboratory specimens to ensure they are ready for analysis. Your duties will include researching, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues related to specimens or customer inquiries. You will send test requests to the appropriate locations, release test results, and assist clients with specimen-related requests. Additionally, you will process specimens to be sent out to other facilities, support various laboratory areas, perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving, as well as prepare record logs efficiently. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is also a crucial part of this role.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dublin, Ohio.

Work Environment

This position is based in a lab environment where you will mostly work on your own in sectioned-off areas. The department consists of 80 employees, and there is no patient contact. Your primary role will be processing lab samples in a production-based setting. Note: Contractors will not handle blood.
