Job Title: Advanced Analytics Specialist

Join Retail Business Services as an Advanced Analytics Specialist and contribute to the success of our supply chain operations. As a key member of our team, you will utilize advanced statistical tools and leading-edge technology to analyze large datasets and develop predictive models that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement statistical models to predict supply chain operational needs and automate decision-making processes.
  • Use advanced analytics to identify operational trends and external variables that impact supply chain performance, providing proactive recommendations to support operational goals.
  • Collaborate with IT to structure supply chain data for analysis and insight development, leveraging new technology to access data and facilitate analysis.
  • Work closely with product managers and supply chain engineers to sustainably scale and deploy supply chain products, such as control towers and vendor profitability models.
  • Serve as an expert on advanced analytics tools and technologies, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of applicable experience in supply chain analytics, agile software development, optimization, or predictive modeling.
  • 5+ years of advanced statistical analysis with a focus on machine learning.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with statistical programming software and languages, such as SAS, SQL, R, Scala, and Python.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure stack, Hadoop, Hive clusters, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Front-end software development skills.
  • Significant experience in algorithm development, focusing on supply chain-related topics.
  • Simulation development experience, with a focus on supply chain areas and digital twin development.
