Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is an experienced and creative problem solver working in coordination with a cross-functional team to support and design the member experience. You'll translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to lead new innovations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance and redesign as required to ensure optimal results.
  • Product Development and Management: Design, develop, and manage activities from product definition & planning to production and release.
  • Prioritization and Trade-offs: Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch support.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Excel Medical and its features across primary market segments.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Requirements Development: Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by the teams developers.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales: Collaborate closely with marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience with product management.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Lifecycle Management: Have prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • API Knowledge: Familiar with API processes.
  • Software Development Background: Background in software development and program management is preferred.
  • Agile Framework: Familiarity with Agile framework.
  • SCRUM Certification: SCRUM Certification would be a plus.
  • Problem Solving and Prioritization: Possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Can work effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Organizational and Leadership Abilities: Organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Location: Ability to work in-person at Excel Medical headquarters.
