Nevada State University is seeking a highly qualified Lecturer of Public Administration - Law Enforcement to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of Public Administration - Law Enforcement.
Key Responsibilities- Teach 24 credits per academic year, equaling four courses per semester (fall and spring).
- Teach lower- and upper-level courses in Law Enforcement in a variety of formats (e.g., in-person, hybrid, online).
- Serve on departmental and university-wide committees.
- Engage in professional development activities.
- Masters in Law Enforcement, Public Administration, or closely related field.
- Evidence of strong commitment to teaching, mentoring, and working with undergraduates.
- Demonstrated commitment to, or interest in, working with a diverse, non-traditional, first-generation student population.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).
- Doctorate in Law Enforcement or Public Administration.
- Familiarity and/or experience with Canvas learning management system.
