Role Summary:

The Community Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the overall management of the property. This includes overseeing administrative tasks, maintenance operations, leasing activities, resident engagement, rent collection, and the management of personnel and resources. Under the guidance of the Community Manager, this position ensures that the property is consistently maintained to high standards and operates within a stable financial framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee new home inventory to safeguard asset value through proper setup, inspections, and utility management until the sale is finalized. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with community standards regarding aesthetics, pet policies, and maintenance.
  • Enhance operational performance and investment returns by managing occupancy rates, delinquency issues, and property maintenance.
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring all promotional materials are current and accessible to potential buyers. Manage online listings and follow up on leads, ensuring all sales documentation is processed accurately.
  • Handle the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of maintenance staff and assistant managers.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and manage delinquent accounts effectively.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for labor and operational expenses, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience in sectors such as retail, hospitality, or property management is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or resident relations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in office software and familiarity with rent management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations regarding property management and fair housing.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to a dynamic work environment is essential.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Work Environment:

Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions; ability to lift packages up to 20 lbs; frequent walking; and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation Package:
$19.00 per hour (based on experience) plus sales commission.
