The Senior Analyst for Business Insights in North America


will collaborate with the global SI team, providing support to both the Cheese and SqueeZ divisions, reporting directly to the NorAm Business Analytics Group Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the SI North America Market Champions team, you will conduct research and data analysis to gain insights into consumer behavior, brand performance, market categories, and competitive landscapes. Your work will influence the development and execution of effective brand, innovation, and category strategies within local business units.

Additionally, you will contribute to cross-functional projects that span multiple brands and countries.

Specific duties include:
• Supporting the NorAm Business Analytics Group Manager in executing the business analytics learning agenda and roadmap to meet local business priorities.
• Utilizing trends, data, and consumer insights to shape local strategies, drive business growth, and uncover new opportunities.
• Identifying knowledge gaps and developing a data-driven learning roadmap with clear objectives.
• Collaborating with data and analytics agency partners to enhance value.
• Promoting a culture of data and analytics usage across the organization.
• Conducting performance analysis and supporting the monthly reporting process while acting as a business partner to marketing and sales teams.
• Developing and managing analytical tools for ongoing and ad-hoc projects in partnership with the Global Business Analytics lead.
• Training local teams on analysis templates and tools created by the SI Business Analytics group.

• Leveraging diverse data sources to elucidate business performance drivers and inform strategic decisions with actionable insights.

Performance Expectations:

To succeed in this role, you must build trust and respect among colleagues and senior leadership. Your work will be evaluated based on quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and thoroughness.

Profile/Skills:
Education & Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst or consultant, with a strong emphasis on business analysis in the CPG sector in North America.
• Experience with data providers such as Circana/Nielsen, Kantar, or loyalty card analytics, along with a keen understanding of consumer, market, and product dynamics.
• Experience in a multicultural, international environment is essential.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in managing large, complex datasets from various sources (Nielsen, Circana, etc.), combined with solid business acumen.
• Familiarity with POS and household purchase data, as well as proficiency in data provider software.
• Ability to visualize data effectively to address specific business inquiries.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
