Medical Assistant - Clinic Support Team

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Clinic Support Team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Room patients in a clinic setting.
  • Take vital signs and perform other pertinent physical measurements.
  • Review charts and prepare exam rooms for patient set up and procedures.
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments and facilitate timely and accurate flow of communication within the clinic/location.
  • Clean and sterilize procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Administer vaccinations and manage in-basket tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited MA program.
  • 6 months of recent relevant work experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting (Family Practice/Pediatrics Experience).
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
