Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Division team at Brevard Physician Associates PLLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to patients in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency treatment and triage to patients
  • Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medication as needed
  • Inform physicians about any problems or concerns
  • Develop effective treatment plans based on patient histories and assessments
  • Monitor patients' progress and keep accurate records of treatments
  • Examine patients and conduct routine procedures as required
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
  • Represent BPA's mission and organizational goals established by the executive committee
  • Comply with medical care regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive care
  • Perform physicals, diagnostic tests, and screening evaluations as necessary
  • Provide care to patients in a safe environment
  • Participate in departmental Continuous Quality Improvement efforts
  • Work with Administration to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Promote staff and community enhancement through in-services and education
  • Attend department staff meetings and other scheduled meetings
  • Maintain Quality Performance measures
  • Maintain productivity and internal customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Clear and active Physician Assistant licensure
  • 1 Year experience of Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language
  • Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000-$220,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
